i'm totally gushing right now!!!!

you know sometimes when you get sooo giddy and sooo happy like a gradeschooler during playtime?! like you're genuinely gushing and so happy because of a certain something?? eeeeek!!!! as in, i'm really full of glee and my tummy gets that fuzzy feeling and i'm just on a high!! allow me to share a few reasons of this behavior of mine. :p





1. pancake!



meet pancake!! she is the santos family dog. yes, she's a she!! hehehehe. isn't she just the cutest!?!?? (she is just sooooo ugly that she's adorable!! ssssh, don't tell them i said that.) the santos siblings are all boys so pancake is sort of the unica hija of the house. she is very spoiled and very much loved! she's so taba and so malambing. she has a hip problem cause of her weight. (kawawa!) aside from this adorable bumblebee costume (which by the way, feel na feel niya how pretty she was strutting around the house in this outfit!) she also has a ballerina outfit, a flower outfit, an elf outfit, and lots more. she's turning two before the month ends and i'm excited for her birthday party!!!! (i wonder what outfit she'll be wearing.)



2. my walk in closet!



yaaaaay! after many years of scattered piles of clothes, finally, my walk in closet (formerly my brother's room) is made!!!! big, big thanks to my genius interior designer sister aissa, my life now has order! hahahha. after my clothes started to not fit the room i share with my sister, i started piling my other stuff in my brother's room, until it all became one big mess. (sorry brow..) after a week-long garage sale manned by our nanay virgie, a three-day visit from our karpintero-slash-electrician, and hours and hours of folding and hanging.. tadaaaaa! my dressing room is made!!!! sooo happy. (my sister even put a thinking chair and table in the center of the room! love it!)



3. chicken wings at ponti!



*drools* wooooow.. yummmmm.. my favorite food at the moment!! well more like, my favorite food for the past half a year! seriously! i have to have to have the chicken wings at il ponticello (resto-bar on valero street in makati) alllll the time. as in every week. as in anyone who finds me there on a thursday night will see me eating chicken wings. hehehee! i just looove it!! its sooo tasty, so crisp on the outside, so juicy on the inside, its a mix of salty and sweet and even a little sour, ayayaaay, so yummy!! one order comes with six wings (pulutan talaga) and i can have anywhere between two, to all six!



4. tees galore!



i love t-shirts!! first and foremost, before i got into dresses and polos and blouses and all other fancy tops, i was a t-shirt girl. in college, i loved being in a t-shirt, jeans, and chucks. that was it, that was my uniform. being inspired the past months by my travels and by the weird weather, i have decided to go back to my laid back, casual look, just like the good ol' college days! on a recent trip to bangkok, i made it a point to raid forever 21 (thanks for the tip rosanna!!), to hoard their t-shirts!! aaaaah, i was in laid-back-casual-style-heaven!! v-necks, round necks, neon, printed, graphic, ethnic, plain, muted, i got them all!! muwahahahahhaa!! *evil laugh here* sooo happy. can't wait to mix and match them. :)



5. tom's!



the most comfortable shoes i've ever put on! i can live in them! i want to live in them! hahahhaa! thanks to my fabulous friend dustin, i discovered tom's. way back, i was a big fan of espadrilles, and so when i saw dustin sporting these espadrille-looking flats sometime recently, i asked him where he got his (at anthem!), and immediately got myself a pair. the moment i tried them on, my feet were in love! i got a black one and a cream one. i can't wait to get other colors too! perfect for a day at the mall, for traveling, for my laid back, casual look! hehhehe. plus! there's a social responsibility component. for every pair that you buy, a kid in south america also gets a pair of shoes. :)



6. float and fries!



ahh.. yet another addiction at the moment. i drive thru almost every other day or every two days to get myself some float and fries. yummmmy!! i was never a big soda person, but for some reason, when they plop a scoop of ice cream in it, it becomes my faaavorite hot summer day treat! the cold, sweet float goes sooo well with the warm, salty fries. love it!!!! in fact, before writing this blog, i drove thru to have my float and fries. eeeeek! its sooo unhealthy though! :( i am a very healthy eater plus i exercise too.. so this is like my cheat treat. but ooh, what a treat indeed! try it! i promise you won't regret it! hehe.



7. adam lambert!



mad world.. wooow. simon gave him a standing ovation!! geez!! go adam lambert!! adam for the win!! woohoo!! okay. i was never a big american idol fan. as in never. i just know of carrie and taylor and fantasia and david, but i never really followed any season. but for some reason, this year, when i would get on the treadmill or get home from work, i always get to catch idol on tv. so inevitably, i got to know the contestants and got to follow their progress. and this adam is really something, huh? grabe. his voice is incredible, amazing, almost unreal! sorry to all kris fans, but, i think adam is going to win.



8. ninang bianca!!



and the biggest news of the year is.... woooooooohooooooooooo!!!! i am going to be a ninaaang!!!! yaaaaaay!! oh my. oh wow. wow!! everytime i think about it i get so excited and i get anxiety attacks! hahahhaa! my brother and my sister in law are expecting a little angel before christmas this year! waaaaah!! that is sooo soon!! a baby jc and tracy!! yaaaaay! i'm sooo happy! hehehhehe! when we all found out, my mom said, "congratulations tita bianca!", and i immediately corrected her saying, "no, its ninang bianca!" hahahha! grabe. if i'm so excited, what more them being the parents right?! my mom is sooo excited to be a lola too, my sister is bursting as well, we're all sooo happy. i can't wait to go to san francisco when the baby is born!!!! i love it!!!!
