I couldn't agree more! I really hope he sticks in his profession as boxer and won't involve himself in a crazy world like politics.

sayang, sana nasabi mo sa kanya! since the people who surround him have ulterior motives, he needs somebody outside his camp to give him the message :)

I agree!

Well, if he does run, it's up to the voters in Saranggani if they want him to represent them in Congress.

Let's hope that they're as smart as their neighbors in General Santos City.

Because the rich and highly educated politicians we have right now are doing such a great job?

I'm totally agree with you bianca.. I hope he will never be run on any position in politics. Manny Pacquio already proved that he is the best boxer in the world. Sana makuntento na xa kung ano ang nasa kanya ngayon. Congrats Manny Pacquio, I am really proud of you.

And also Congrats to your friend
Mr. & Mrs. Ryan Agoncillo.

Mabuhay ka, Manny!

I agree. He should stay an inspiration to the people by doing what he does best. :) Politics can get dirty, probably even worse than all the blood, sweat and tears from the boxing ring!

I'd rather him to be the best boxer than the best boxer turned congressman. Please, God, no~

i totally agree... I'm sure there are other ways in serving the country. He can build his own charity organisations and help the Filipino kids if he really wants to serve. Although so proud to be Pinoy becoz of him!

hi ms. bianca! i also agree with your caption here. pacman should never allow himself to be used by anyone in power. anyone can SERVE others even without political title. i wish manny would keep himself humble and always grateful to the good Lord. Millions admire his success including me. Although he knows value of excellence, perseverance and hardwork, which is truly inspiring, i guess we all agree that he should stick to what he do best.... thanks!

i don't like him.. kasi parang OA niya.. akala ko ba kapamilya na siya tapos biglang switch sa kabila. hmft!

Yup! He should only be the best fighter in the world.. and not best fighter-slash-congressman!!!

Nice blog entry ate Biancs!!! :D
I remember you already post it before here in your blog, and he's only the best fighter in the Philippines back then, but now he's the best fighter not only in the Philippines but also in the world!!!

i agree Bianca.

he can always help his people in any way he can but running for congress might not be the best option.

I think everyone agrees with you. Count me in. Sports and politics just don't mix well.

Super agree with you! Sana he doesn't get pushed into politics..

supershang said...

i also wanna have a photo op with him! (envy) you look fab bianca!

Anonymous said...

i couldn't agree more.. it's given that he's an amazing fighter but congress doesn't fit him.

Anonymous said...

I super agree with you Bianca. Enough na na boxing icon na siya. Huwag na siyang pumasok sa pulitika. Sana magtayo na lang siya ng foundation that would help people.

Pacman isn't as stupid as others might think. If you analyze his decision to run, it might be because he wants to protect his assets. Since he became a famous and brilliant boxer, people have been swarming in his home asking for his generous aid. And in time his fortune COULD dwindle. Therefore he decided to run to be able to help people still but this time not using his resources. Instead the pork barrel that congressmen receive will be utilized. Win-win situation.

you're right, biancs! he's really the best fighter in the world. no doubt. but manny as the representative of saranggani in congress? hmmmmm.... who's in line again for your next fight? :) boxing nalang!

Anonymous said...

I really hope so.
BTW, you look more feisty than he is. :D

Hi ate bia! Yup! Pacman will not better run in politics! But you should be the one who run in politics! Pls! Run a high position on politics in 2010 elections! For sure, you will have our votes, your millions of avid fans! :D

I am not really a fan of Pacquiao but I respect him for the pride he brings to the country. It is really something relieving especially when the rest of the world tends to look down at our capabilities, go PACMAN! =) Cool pic Bianca!

Yeah.. I couldn't agree more.. He will only ruin his name if he enters the dirty world of politics here in the Philippines..

i agree..im from Gensan(kapitbahay ng saranggani) but i dont want him to run in politics...Lol..how could he manage his career as a boxer if that would totally happen? he can't serve two masters at the same time..LOl

frenzjavier said...

yeah i agree with you. I advise him to stay in boxing!

Donatello said...

sorry bianca but i don't agree with you on this.

i understand where you are coming from.. you probably think that it is best for someone who lacks education to not go into politics.. and i would agree with you on that too..

but things work differently in the philippines.. the president's salary is only 60k per month.. heck i earn 3-4 times more than that! my point is, it is very difficult to find someone qualified and sincere in helping people with that low a salary.. how else can one provide a descent life for one's family but to be corrupt?

now, with manny's case.. i think he is not qualified too in terms of his education.. but his willingness to help and his sincerity in serving the people overrides such shortcomings that to me he now becomes the MOST qualified candidate to run for public office

if i remember correctly, you supported GMA in the 2004 elections.. i firmly believed from day 1 that FPJ was the best candidate.. and with the same arguments as above.. and now look where GMA got us.. now we are famous all over the world for the 20k USD dinners.. i hope you won't make the same mistake this time and instead support the people's champ
