Hello, its me again, your friendly neighborhood atheist. Glad to see you are raring to answer many a question, even that involving philosophy!

I wish you sporting luck my god-fearing friend. Instead of the insipid and toady questions being hurled at you allow me to give you something to chew on.

I know this is the wrong place to post this question but it seems to me most appropriate. (Homework: Why?)

The following is taken from the book ATHEISM: THE CASE AGAINST GOD by George Smith. Please comment.

In exchange for obedience, Christianity promises salvation in an afterlife; but in order to elicit obedience through this promise, Christianity must convince men that they need salvation, that there is something to be saved from. Christianity has nothing to offer a happy man living in a natural, intelligible universe. If Christianity is to gain a motivational foothold, it must declare war on earthly pleasure and happiness, and this, historically, has been its precise course of action. In the eyes of Christianity, man is sinful and helpless in the face of God, and is potential fuel for the flames of hell. Just as Christianity must destroy reason before it can introduce faith, so it must destroy happiness before it can introduce salvation.

As usual, there is no need for you to answer this in your blog. If you wish, please post your reply to my blog sadiztik.blogspot.com as an anonymous writer.

Cheers to you, mate!

PS: I have a Canon EOS 400D also. What lens are you using? I suggest you get the 50mm f/1.8 lens which is only around P4,000.00 in R. Hidalgo. Its a beautiful lens! Also, do visit
http://www.digitalphotographer.com.ph/forum

there are plenty of like-minded photographers there. NO, I am not a member of that forum.

But, I hope you join a photography club affiliated with the FPPF and that you join the same club I am in.

You will be one step closer to discovering who I am. Here's a clue to my club: Cinderella!

See you at the theater.

hi bianca..i'm one of your fan and sobrang inaadmire kita ever since i read your article on meg. wow talaga.you have something.
i know you have a passion in photography. ang ganda ng mga kuha mo. expressive yung mga pictures kasi dramatic yung effect.sinamahan pa ng tamang lighting. kaya picture perfect.
hay, buti ka pa may DSLR, ung gamit ko SLR pa din. mas magastos un pero nageenjoy naman akong masurprise sa bawat outcome. minsan, trial and error, hehe. Natry mo na gumamit ng filters?.. and effects using fast and slow shutter?..or multiple exposure.
i love to travel but i don't have enough money for support. so, hanggang walking distance and near by places and parks muna ako for now, same time nakakakuha na rin ako ng subject for photography. nakkainggit ka. kasi you've been through many places.and you have the opportunity para makita at marecord yung mga places and people sa iba't ibang lugar. you can turn it out into a wonderful work of art. ask ko lang, nalibot mo na ba buong pilipinas?.. i hope so..
you always make a difference. you have a very positive thoughts in life and sa iba't ibang bagay.
sana mameet kita in person. pagnangyari yun, makikipagkwentuhan ako sa'yo ng buong araw. hehe.. ^_^ winks*
god bless!.. tc!..

hi bianca! i have been following your blog for a couple of months now. i enjoy reading your posts esp the ones featuring your travels abroad.

my hubby and i (and our doggies too) are actually based here in Bintulu Sarawak right now due to his work assignment. until when... that i do not know.

your recent feature on kota kinabalu excites me more because we are literally just within the same state as that of kota and my hubby and i would want to go there sometime next month just in time for my bday.

hope it's ok with you if i ask for an itinerary... he he he... thanks in advance!

God bless!

Hey Bianca! Since you're a Yabang Pinoy advocate, I thought I'd tell you about this event.

On October 21, 2007 at Rockwell Tent, the campaign for Pinoy pride goes to a brand new level with Global Pinoy Bazaar - a one day fair that brings together both on-the-rise and professional Filipino entrepreneurs who have globally competitive Pinoy products to exhibit.

The bazaar aims to assemble original products - made by Filipinos for Filipinos. Primary beneficiaries include Yamang Isip library for Barangay Bagumbayan in Daraga Albay, Ecological Livelihood for Barangay Balanti in Tarlac and Barangay Ilaya in Muntinlupa.

Ikalat and tsismis and we'll see you there!
