LABAN.

it is an amazing experience to be in her presence even for just a few seconds. president cory helped FREE us, what's a few minutes of our time to honor her, right? if you can, do go to her wake, or take time out to greet her on wednesday's convoy.

august 1..
this was my view after the 8PM mass my friends and i attended in la salle greenhills. everything was very peaceful, very solemn.. so many supporters came despite the rain. people were crying as they approached the former president. it was so touching. it was great to see the family look all at peace, yes, sad and tired, but all at peace.

august 2..
if you didn't watch the buzz that day, you missed out on a lot. my friend mariel and i texted each other throughout the interview because it was so touching, so inspiring, felt like our hearts were breaking. sent a message of support to ate kris right after, and almost couldn't believe she had the time to reply saying thank you.

august 3..
this was my sister's view from her office along ayala avenue. i wish so wish i was there. my mom and i watched the whole coverage on abs and anc. i was brought to tears by all the yellow balloons flying and yellow confetti falling from the sky. my sister said that this was "the day ayala avenue stopped and gave a standing ovation".

To get through with my sadness..I just think that she will be with Ninoy after 26 years...finally, no one can keep them apart now. :'(

I had the chance to go home and watch the special coverage on Pres. Cory's convoy, and wow, hers was down-right comparable - or might I say, just as like Ninoy Aquino's convoy 26 years ago!
I never knew her personally... But my heart screams - despite louder shouts - a sincere thank you to her. She lead the country with humility and righteousness united with her covenant with God. With that she died never regretting or forgetting a last duty in her life.

No goodbyes... Just thank yous. Thank you President Cory...a yellow ribbon for you...

had the change to see her convoy along ayala.. I had to wait for about 2 hours...

RIP Pres. Cory...

wow!bow to president cory! thank you so much! poor me i don't know much of her, except to the globally known fact that she gave Philippines democracy! but she was more than that thanks to this news and i've been glued to the boob tube watching all the coverage and tributes about her. she's just so inspiring! i know by now that she is enjoying the internal life and peace God promised her and i pray that she may continue on guiding us Filipinos..

we Filipinos are left with a big challenge and that is to relive and continue what President Cory started! let this be a jumpstart for us all and say AKO MISMO!

PEACE AND LOVE TO PRESIDENT CORY!C;

It's worth stopping Ayala Avenue. She was really a great heroic lady who made a big difference in the country.

im one of those in ayala who left my air-conditioned room in the office, went to the streets, endured the harsh sunlight, got soaked in sweat and gave the president a standing ovation. she's definitely the best we ever had.
